For the freshwater enthusiast
we have many tidal/river-mouth locations within an hour
run of the lodge for salmon and Dolly Varden trout.
River fishing in the Uganik
River, one of Kodiak's best, can be done by boat/hiking
during the entire season except for September, when
we raft the Uganik system from Uganik Lake to saltwater
for the TROPHY silver salmon.
In addition to our optional
fly-out rafting/fishing trips on the Uganik, we have
exclusive permits for a fly-out to Little River Lake
and upper stream system. These provide guests with many
options for great seasonal spin or fly-fishing for salmon,
rainbow trout and Dolly Varden.
