The Kodiak Island adventure
you'd like to make a reality can happen here at Quartz
Creek Lodge on remote Uganik Bay.
A short, scenic float-plane
ride across the island is just the beginning of the
adventure. Uganik Bay is comprised of three massive
arms: the Northeast, South and East Arms, Uganik Passage
and Terror Bay. You will see new territory every day
whether your passion is Sea Kayaking, Saltwater or Freshwater
Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, or Photography.
There is so much to see and
do here that our guests wish they could never leave. The
pristine waters of Uganik Bay are surrounded by the
natural beauty of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge.
You will likely view most of Kodiak's animals as well
as a vast array of birds and wildflowers, in their natural
habitat. One of the objectives of the National Wildlife
Refuge, and ours, is to preserve these unique ecosystems.
Learning about them will be an important aspect of your
visit to Uganik Bay.
